At the beginning of 2019, the domestic tourism industry was seriously affected by the epidemic. After full liberalization began in 2023, the domestic tourism industry ushered in a new development. In 2023, the annual number of domestic trips reached 4.89 billion, an increase of 93.3 percent over 2022.
